Our Office is Coming Along!!

As many of you know we finally started renting an office space for our business. It is located in Peoria, AZ and is situated on an endcap. The office is around 2,500 square feet and contains a front office and a big warehouse in the back. We are so excited because this is our first office. Bryan has been in the process of redoing the floors. The tenants that had the space before us were owners of a flooring company. They used the front office as a showroom so the floor had three different types of flooring and looked really funny at least for our office. So Bryan has ripped out all the flooring, sanded it down, and stained it. It looks pretty darn good for his first staining job. He said it was a lot of work and would never do it again unless he had like 10 guys helping him. Here are the pictures of the flooring and the start of our new office. Yippee!!!!!

This weekend is going to be pretty hectic because we are going to be transporting a lot of the office stuff from our home over to the shop. Hopefully within the next week or so I will be driving to Peoria to work out of our shop. It's so exciting! My husband is such a handyman and I love him for that!

Our trip to Southern Arizona!

My mom, the boys, and I all took a trip down to Southern Arizona to visit my grandparents. My grandparents who are close to their 90's live in a small town by the name of Douglas. Douglas is so close to the Mexico border that you can literally walk right across. On friday we left Phoenix around 1:30pm and arrived in Douglas close to 6:00pm. It takes around 4 hours to get there but it is a nice peaceful drive. Traffic is non-existant down in and around Douglas. It was so nice not to have someone riding your bumper in town. We arrived in Douglas to late to really do anything so we visited with my grandparents for the night. Saturday we took the boys to a park close to my grandparent's house and let them play around for awhile.

Soon it began to sprinkle so we loaded them up and took them to downtown Douglas to walk around at the little shops. There is this little park that is located within downtown Douglas and they were having a little arts and crafts festival. We decided since we were so close that we would go and check it out. They had all kinds of booths with all kinds of crafts that people had made by hand. They also had three cars that were decorated by local artists that were pretty cool and I must say unique!

After checking out the cars and the booths we packed the kids off and headed to Bisbee to see my Uncle and Aunt. Bisbee is a very small mining town. It almost makes me think of the little christmas villages. In this picture the large mine is behind Logan,

This is a picture of the inside of the mining hole.

On Sunday we took the boys down to Tombstone or should I say Cowboy Town to see a cowboy gunfight and to walk around the shops. They had a great time.

Pic of the day! Is that grass?

This has to be one of the weirdest things we have ever come across in our many years of doing green pool clean-ups. We have never seen actual grass growing in the pool. I mean we have seen it in swamps but not a backyard swimming pool. The water was not that green and it was like the pool had it's own eco-system going on. Super weird but interesting!

Dirty Jobs!

I know everyone has seen the show called "Dirty Jobs" with Mike Rowe. Well we submitted a dirty job to him this evening and hopefully he will except our challenge. His challege is to come and clean one of our neglected swamp green swimming pools. Wish us luck!

Where do babies come from?

Oh, the question every parent hears at least once from each child. My dear sweet five year old son Logan voiced this question to me this afternoon and instead of answering him I let him explain to me what he knows. Here's how are conversation went:

Me: Where do you think babies come from?

Logan: From your belly!

Me: How do they get in your belly?

Logan: If you eat to much food then a baby will start to grow in your belly and that's how your belly gets so big! (I better stop eating if this is the case!)

Me: Oh!

Me: How do babies come out of the belly?
(Let me tell you he knew this one. At least one of the ways to get a baby out. Smart and observant cookie.)

Logan: The doctor cuts your belly open and out pops a baby.
